Welcome to the revised Peelstar Country Club.
The Peelstar Country Club started as a country radio-show in January 1997 on Peelstar 107 FM in Sint Anthonis in the Netherlands. The show starts at 19.00 hrs (Central European Time) and ends at 22.00 hrs. We bring country radio to the ears of approx. 120,000 listeners on FM radio and to millions through the internet 24/7. The first hour is (most of the time) dedicated to new CD's from Americana, alternative country, traditional, Tex-Mex, Western swing and cajun/zydeco. The first hour is split in 2 parts, around 19.30 hrs the agenda is presented, all venues with live music or line-dance evenings in the neighbourhood (up to 50 km) are mentioned. The agenda is followed by 3 tracks from the CD of the Month, which is chosen from a range of new received CD's. In this way you get some extra attention for your music.
The second hour is an hour for line-dancers also with an agenda around 20.30 hrs. In this way line-dancers can rehearse their dances at home (and nobody can see the mistakes they make LOL). I announce the song and the accompyaning dance.
The third hour is dedicated to Dutch country music in the first quarter, golden oldies, tracks from the CD of the Month and longer tracks than used in the first 2 hours.
